The current legal act regulating the AWA fee is the Act of May 12, 2011 on reimbursement of medicines, foodstuffs for special nutritional purposes and medical devices (Dz. U. of 2020, item 357, i.e.).
According to the regulation, the fee for preparing the verification analysis of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tarification is – 101,574 PLN.
Pursuant to the provisions of the Regulation of the Minister of Health dated 18 December 2013 on the method and procedures for drafting a verification analysis by the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System and on the fee for the analysis (Polish Journal of Laws of 2014, item 4, as amended), since 4 May 2022, the fee for drafting a verification analysis by the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System shall be PLN 140,364.
The fees applicable for the Agency drafting a Verification Analysis paid before 4 May 2022 in the previous amount are considered to have been paid correctly.
According to Article 35 (3) of this Law:
“The Agency’s verification analysis is subject to a fee. The fee shall be paid to the Agency’s bank account. The fee shall be no more than PLN 150,000.”
