Participation in Transparency Council meetings
The meetings of the Transparency Council may be attended by experts in the branch of medicine which is the subject of the motions or information discussed at that meeting and by other persons invited as the guests of the Transparency Council by the President of the Council.
Submission of a Declaration on Interest (DBKI, pol. Deklaracji o Braku Konfliktu Interesów) referred to in Article 31s (9) of the Act of 27 August 2004 on healthcare services financed from public funds (Journal of Laws of with 2019 item 1373 as amended) is the fundamental condition for participation in the meeting.
A motion for participation in a particular meeting of the Transparency Council shall be submitted to the Agency not later than 5 days before the scheduled meeting date. The dates of subsequent Council meetings and the subjects which are to be covered can be found in the work schedules of the Transparency Council, the agendas published in the Public Information Bulletin and in the News section.
The motion for participation should include, i.a., the following information:
- The date of the Transparency Council’s meeting in question.
- The subject to be discussed by the Council (name of the medicine/foodstuff for particular nutritional uses/medical device + indication/name of the healthcare service).
- Personal data of the person applying for participation and his/her contact details.
- Information on the possible relations with marketing authorisation holders for the health technologies to be assessed by the Transparency Council.

In the event of circumstances that may give rise to reasonable doubts as to the impartiality of the person submitting the motion for participation in the meeting or of the institution it represents, the President of the Transparency Council may refuse to consent to such participation.
