Daniel Rutkowski

He has been involved in the healthcare system since the beginning of his professional career. Since 2001, he has been associated with the Mazovian Regional Health Fund, and since 2006 with the National Health Fund. From July 2015, he served as deputy director of the Healthcare Benefits Department at the National Health Fund Headquarters. From February 27, 2023, he served as deputy president of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System.
As a healthcare manager, he was a member of many teams initiating and implementing organizational and legal solutions in the field of healthcare. He participated, among others, in the implementation of the Homogeneous Patient Groups system and the Basic Hospital Healthcare Services Security System. In 2016-2022, he was a member of the Tariff Council, operating under the President of the Agency, performing an advisory and consultative function.
Daniel Rutkowski is an economist by education. He also completed postgraduate studies in healthcare management, statistical analysis and data mining in business, and European Union pre-accession and structural programs.
He was awarded the Minister of Health’s honorary badge for his contributions to healthcare.
He has been President of the Agency for Health Technology Assessment and Tariff System since 28 March 2024.
